Welcome to a large, newly renovated turn-of-the-century apartment located right next to Mariatorget in central Södermalm — one of Stockholm’s most desirable and beautiful neighbourhoods.

You will be renting a private room of ~10 m2, fully furnished with a bed (90x210cm), bedside table, desk, chair and wardrobe/storage. The room will be newly arranged for the tenant (photos of the apartment show the overall standard, style and atmosphere).

The apartment is 103 m2 with high ceilings, original pine wood floors, large windows, and a working tiled fireplace (kakelugn). Shared areas include:

I’m a Swedish professional with a background in biotech/pharma quality management. I am currently working on consulting projects from home while preparing my next full-time assignment. I have a PhD in the natural sciences, and I appreciate a calm, clean and academically oriented environment. I value good communication, respect and a quiet household.

The building and apartment are quiet, safe and well-maintained. Everything is within walking distance: cafés, restaurants, gyms, bars, Systembolaget, supermarkets, parks, the waterfront and excellent public transport (red and green metro lines, commuter trains and buses).
