This fully furnished, two-storey villa offers a rare combination of nature, privacy and proximity to central Stockholm. Located on the car-free island of Tranholmen, the home provides a calm, safe environment while remaining highly accessible for commuting and city life.

The island is reached by public ferry or private boat year-round. During winter (November–April), a pedestrian bridge connects Tranholmen directly to the mainland in Stocksund, allowing easy walking access.

The house was renovated in 2016 and offers generous living space across seven rooms.

Living on Tranholmen – a unique community
Tranholmen is home to approximately 200 properties, most of them permanently inhabited. The island has a welcoming, close-knit community with a mix of traditional summer houses and modern villas. Transport, commuting and parking
The island is accessible by ferry or private boat year-round. During the winter season (November to April), a footbridge is laid out, connecting the island to Svanholmsparken in Stocksund.

The property also includes access to private jetties at Tranholmen, Stocksund and Lilla Skuggan. At Lilla Skugga access inludes a dedicated private car parking space.

Private boat (optional): A private motorboat may be made available for tenant use by separate agreement.

Stocksund Parking: A large resident car park is available in Stocksund, complete with chargers for electric cars.

SL Boat Service: The public SL boat operates daily all year, connecting Tranholmen to Ropsten (for transfer to bus or subway) and other destinations like Nybroviken and Ekudden in Djursholm.

Boat Pool: A collective boat pool provides rowboats for the short 100m row across the strait to Stocksund at its narrowest point.

Minimum stay: 12 months.
The tenant may give 3 months’ notice after 9 months, meaning the earliest possible termination date is after 12 months.
After that, 3 months’ notice applies on a rolling basis.
